Be prepared to enter a waking dream when Luminarium Dance Company debuts its new production, The Sleeprunner--an immersive performance that promises to transport viewers and dancers alike to a surreal dreamscape. Showcasing nine dancers as well as the four-year-old company's distinctive light and set designs, The Sleeprunner aims to provide a multi-sensory experience that pulls viewers along on the journey through a night's sleep, from the moment your head hits the pillow to the wild, dark and wonderful dreams that follow. Similarly immersive is the opening night's reception after the performance, featuring tasty bites from local restaurants, a cash bar and the opportunity for guests to mingle with the dancers. Dreams come true when The Sleeprunner opens Dec. 5 for a limited run at Cambridge's Multicultural Arts Center.
