Luminarium is regularly hired by schools, arts councils, and New England organizations to bring its work to their campuses, and is even frequently commissioned to create performance installations for venues ranging from gardens to healing centers, cemeteries to public fountains. Whether bringing a workshop for youth to schools, presenting professional works from our repertory at festivals and curated performances, or creating something entirely new for celebratory events throughout Greater Boston, Luminarium will work with you to create the perfect experience. Interested in bringing the company to your organization or event? Contact info@luminariumdance.org, and read below for more examples of what we offer.

MASTER CLASSES, LECTURES, & DISCUSSIONS
Luminarium Artistic Directors Guerra and Holman each have a unique style of movement, making their master classes for students both enjoyably challenging and engaging. In conjunction with teaching classes at different venues, the directors have shared their stories and insights on forging a career in dance at events ranging from the “Crafting a Life in the Arts” panel at Mount Holyoke College to the “text and conText” series at the Arsenal Center for the Arts. Could your students or organization members benefit from hearing first-hand experiences from professionals in the field? We’re happy to get the discussion started!

STAGED PERFORMANCES AT YOUR VENUE
Luminarium offers performance packages ranging from 20 to 60 minutes of dance, and will work with your organization to select the best pieces for your viewers and budget. Schools and colleges will especially appreciate our thrilling production MYTHOS:PATHOS, based on Greek mythology—“It’s child’s play and demi-god play in a single breath” (Boston Arts Review). Or become a stop on Luminarium's 2017-18 tour of Feature #7 (working title), the evening-length work expanded from our recent commission for TEDxCambridge that premiered at the famous Boston Opera House. Contact Merli V. Guerra at mguerra@luminariumdance.org for more info on securing your spot on the tour.

COMMISSIONED WORKS: ONSTAGE OR INSTALLATION

Need an exciting new piece of choreography to open or close your staged event? Or looking for something less formal for a social gathering or gallery opening? From living art installations to commissioned onstage works, tell us your ideas, and we can arrange it. We have performed in art galleries, historic sites, private gardens, healing centers, music halls, outdoor stages, and world-class theaters. Whatever your needs, whatever your venue, Luminarium is ready to take on the challenge.

DANCE+ SERIES

Luminarium's popular DANCE+ Series has traveled across the state since its conception in 2014, and uses creative movement as a means of combining dance with other fields, such as Science, Technology, Music, Light, and even Bugs! Read testimonials from parents and students, watch clips of different classes, and learn how you can bring this special program to your community by clicking here.

*All programs are adaptable for those with special needs. Most recently, our DANCE+Technology workshop was brought to the Discovery Museums in Acton, MA, for vision-impaired youth—the workshop guided them through movement using sensor-triggered sounds. Whatever the need, we are happy to cater our offerings as best as possible.
